Advent Activity Reindeer Poster
For a fun advent calendar this year my agent Anita and I put our thinking caps on back in June and came up with a slightly new idea on an popular traditional one.
As the reindeer is a well-loved Christmas animal I painted a child-like reindeer in glorious cranberry red. Then I added little wooden drawers with tiny gold knobs on which I then numbered. As I worked I found I was drawn to painting the drawers in different quirky sizes which appealed to the kid in me!

Next we needed some snowflakes for some seasonal magic. Finally our reindeer got a tinkling bell to herald the Christmas season.

Our poster which is 17 x 23 inches approx is a real focal point for kids during the run-up to Christmas.
On gorgeously smooth and creamy super-heavyweight paper it shows off the reindeer to a tee.
Each day they get to write in one of the boxes what special advent activity they will be doing. To spark ideas for festive fun we also created a suggestion list which also comes with your Christmas Advent kit along with an opaque white pen, some lush East of India washi tape to fix your poster to the wall!
